Benjamin Appleby is the founder and CEO of Buji. He started the company after seeing how many people were travelling abroad for hair transplants with very little protection if something went wrong — and became convinced that the standards and support around the surgery matter just as much as the surgery itself.
Ben is passionate about patient safety. His focus is on building a model where every Buji patient gets UK medical oversight, surgeon-led care, vetted clinics and a genuine outcomes guarantee — so going abroad becomes a properly managed medical pathway rather than a gamble.

Turkish packages run from roughly £1,500 to £8,000, not the £2,000 to £3,000 the headlines suggest. The gap between the two ends of that range is the whole story, and most of it comes down to how much of a real surgeon’s time you are actually buying.
